Have you changed your Gard’Apis entrance to RED?

Please remember to change the entrance to red and be extra alert and regularly check your traps as October /November is the time of year that queen yellow legged Asian Hornets emerge to go on their mating flight.

November /December is when the mated queen looks for somewhere to overwinter.

During this time the nest is abandoned and the workers die.

The queen AH emerges from overwintering in April or late March depending on the weather and the cycle begins again.
