Petts Wood Fair

Orpington Beekeepers had a stall at Petts Wood Fair on Monday 5 May.  Over 90 jars of honey were sold, many to return customers commenting on how much they had enjoyed the honey they had bought in previous years.  We had information about the Yellow Legged Hornet and engaged the public in conversation about the issue.  Many people took the monitoring jars, trap lids and information leaflets and agreed to look out this in their gardens.  The observation hive was popular with children and adults alike.
